Michelle Brandt King, Associate
Michelle King’s practice focuses mainly on public utilities law and general civil litigation. Her public utilities practice spans a wide array of regulatory matters focusing on electric, natural gas, telecommunications and transportation utilities. Michelle has experience in a wide variety of proceedings at the Public Utilities Commission including rate cases, resource acquisition proceedings, complaint and show cause, applications and tariff filings.
Michelle is well-poised to facilitate her clients' adaptation to Colorado's New Energy Economy given her experience and perspective gained from internships with the U.S. Department of Energy's office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy as well as Western Resource Advocates' energy project. One of the aspects of public utilities law that Michelle enjoys most is the significant role played by public utilities issues in shaping our local, national and international policies. This pervasiveness presents Michelle with many opportunities to help her clients achieve their goals.
