Matthew J. Costinett, Associate
Matthew J. Costinett’s practice is focused in the areas of natural resources law, with an emphasis in the areas of oil & gas and title and abstract review. Matt is experienced in all aspects of mineral title examination and title opinion rendering. Matt has authored numerous drilling and division order title opinions for operations in Colorado and has provided title curative recommendations and drafting services.
Matt also has several years of experience working as a civil litigation attorney for a mid-size litigation firm in the Denver area. During this time, Matt defended builders, developers, and subcontractors in construction defect cases and other individuals and businesses in a variety of business-related litigation matters.
Prior to attending law school, Matt worked as an analyst for a Washington D.C. area energy and environmental consulting firm, where he participated in various studies analyzing a variety of natural gas supply issues for industry and government agency clients.
