Ric Fanyo, Co-Managing Director

Ric Fanyo has been co-managing director of the firm since 2000. From over 30 years of practice, he has acquired an unusual combination of expertise in public utility regulation and mining law by representing clients in a wide variety of issues in both fields. As a result, he is one of the relatively few attorneys whose experience encompasses the complete energy cycle - from mineral extraction through processing, delivery and consumption.

Ric has developed longstanding relationships with many clients by not only representing their interests in particular utility regulation and mining issues initiated by other parties, but also counseling them about opportunities available to them for affirmative action to achieve their business objectives. His familiarity with his clients' operations and competitive circumstances combined with his broad experience enables him to identify those opportunities that might be overlooked otherwise. Whether representing existing or new clients, his approach to every engagement is to formulate realistic strategies to accomplish his clients' goals and then implement them to achieve satisfactory results.
