Randy Feuerstein, Director
Randy Feuerstein is a shareholder and director and has practiced at Dufford & Brown his entire 27-year career. Randy's emphasis lies in real estate transactions, surface and mineral conflicts, agricultural law, and creditor representation in business bankruptcies. He has also represented special districts as general counsel involving special district matters, bonds, and general civil representation, including contracts.
In both real estate and agricultural law areas, Randy helps clients with surface and mineral conflicts including surface use agreements, mineral notifications,real estate purchases and sales, loan transactions, development, leases, easements, and title review. He has worked on purchases and sales of both vacant land and improved real estate for residential subdivisions, commercial buildings, office buildings, retail/shopping centers, and farms and ranches. He has also worked on loans, title examinations, development issues, easement preparations, and leasing for similar properties.
He has assisted trade groups and legislators in the negotiation and drafting of legislation relating to surface and mineral conflicts, including H.B. 1219 introduced in 2005, H.B. 1185 introduced in 2006, and S.B. 07-237 signed by Governor Ritter in 2007.
In the bankruptcy area, Randy helps secured and unsecured creditors monitor a case and participates on their behalf in all aspects of the bankruptcy process including relief from stay, cash collateral, reorganization plans, defending avoidance actions, and establishing secured and unsecured claims. He has represented official creditors' and bondholders' committees in complex business and real estate reorganization cases.
