Fritz Ganz, Of Counsel
Fritz Ganz has practiced civil litigation and environmental law for more than ten years, maintaining a heavy emphasis on environmental and toxic tort litigation. Fritz has significant experience representing clients in both the transactional and administrative settings as well as in the courtroom. He has represented plaintiffs in environmental citizen suits under the Clean Water Act (CWA) and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and potentially responsible parties in cost recovery and natural resource damage actions under the Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA). Fritz Represents clients in the energy, mining and natural resources sector on matters relating to regulatory compliance, permitting, and project development, including compliance with the CWA, RCRA, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Endangered Species Act (ESA), as well as state and local laws. Active in the American Bar Association Section on Environment, Energy and Resources, he is admitted to the federal and state bars of Colorado and Wyoming, the Unite States Courts of Appeals for the Ninth and Tenth Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court.
Prior to attending law school, Fritz spent two years in Washington, DC as a government relations consultant working on behalf of water resources management agencies. Fritz represented clients before Congressional panels, the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the United States Army Corps of Engineers on issues ranging from the reauthorization of the CWA to the development of proposed Phase II stormwater permitting under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES).
