Gene Megyesy's practice encompasses all areas of environmental law, including rulemaking, permitting, enforcement, and litigation. He has represented manufacturing, real estate, mining, and municipal clients. His representation has included corporations, public entities, and individuals. Gene has gained experience in working with these clients on cases involving the permitting of landfills, mining and manufacturing operations, as well as air, disposal, and water quality compliance issues at various facilities.
Gene has experience at both the Colorado Attorney General's Office and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. As a result of being Honorary Consul General of Hungary in this region, he has been involved in numerous international transactions and litigation.
